OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA ------------- Old Florida Paddle Boats In Black and White his style of boat was used to transport goods &
passengers from the Jacksonville area, through
Silver Springs then on to Tampa & back..... The original boats were "side wheelers" they had
to be redesigned to enable them to pass through
the narrower parts of the river.
